In this Privacy Policy, the terms “Company”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Denka Group, including the various Denka entities listed in Section 11 below.

1. Purposes of using personal information

The types of personal information we may collect about you depends on your relationship with us and may include your name, contact information (e.g. e-mail address), employment information (e.g. company name, company location, job title) and other information. If you provide us with personal information of other persons, you represent and warrant that you have informed them of the purposes for which we are collecting their personal information and have obtained their consent.

The purposes for which we may collect, use, disclose and process your personal information depend on your relationship with us. Personal information may be collected, used, disclosed and processed by us within the period necessary:

  • For purposes for which you have provided your consent.
  • To facilitate your access to and use of the Company’s website and applications.
  • For managing and engaging third parties or data processors that provide services to the Company, including IT services and other professional services.
  • For security purposes, such as protecting our website from unauthorised access or usage and to monitor for security threats.

Personal information of clients

If you are our client, the Company may collect, use, disclose and process your personal information for the following purposes:

Personal information of shareholders

If you are our shareholder, the Company may collect, use, disclose and process your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To facilitate shareholders communications, and assist with your queries, requests and applications.
  • To exercise rights in accordance with applicable laws.
  • To comply with applicable laws and standards in relation to the management of shareholders information.

Personal information of minors

We pay particular attention to the protection of personal information of minors. We have no intention to collect any personal information of minors. Where we are aware that we are collecting or processing personal information of minors, we will seek to delete such personal information as soon as possible, or if necessary, obtain consent from their parents or guardians.

Personal information of recruitment applicants

If you are a recruitment applicant, the Company may collect, use, disclose and process your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To inform on the recruitment process including interview dates and other information.

3. Retention of personal data

We keep your personal data only for so long as we need the personal data to fulfil the purposes we collected it for.
